Entering our 2nd season, Team TriBy3-Snapple is taking applications for our 2014 Elite Racing Team. At TB3-Snapple, we’re looking to provide top athletes in the NYC-area with a team experience that promotes excellence through individual development, a competitive group atmosphere, and unrivaled sponsor support. We’re looking for men and women who are consistently at the front of the field in the amateur and elite ranks. 

Looking to turn pro? We can get you there. Our 2013 Elite Team boasted some of the top Ironman and Ironman 70.3 finishes in the United States. You can join a team that includes a sub-9:00:00 Ironman Pro, the 2nd Overall Ranked man in the Ironman 30-34AG in the world, and an undefeated woman under 30 years old. Recent highlights include: 

Greg Close: 10th Pro Male, Ironman Sweden, 8:56:40 
Darbi Roberts: 1st Amateur Female, Ironman Mt. Tremblant, 9:33:37 
Erik Reitinger: 11th Overall Finisher, Ironman Louisville, 9:27:26 

TB3-Snapple combines TriBy3’s innovative approach to coaching with the national reputation for excellence that the Snapple Triathlon Team has fostered over the past 6 years. In doing so, we’re assembling the most qualified group of individual athletes to represent our vision, our team, and our brand. 

Athletes accepted onto the team are provided with: 

  • Racing and training kits
  • Wingspan and Sterling helmets from Rudy Project
  • Wetsuit and speedsuit from Xterra Wetsuits
  • Coaching by Greg Close, Professional Triathlete and owner/president of TriBy3 Performance Coaching
  • Free access to our Multisport Training Facility and Computrainer Studio in Brooklyn, NY

In addition, elite athletes are given access to very special pricing from some of best multisport retailers and services in the world. A selection are:

Once a part of the team, athletes are required to race and train in exclusively in TriBy3-Snapple clothing, represent our sponsors (individual sponsorships will be considered on a case-by-case basis), submit regular blog posts, social media updates, and race reports, and conduct themselves in a manner that positively impacts the team. Coaching and training are solely under the advisement of TriBy3, and athletes are expected to adhere to the contractual obligations therein. Additionally, athletes will be asked to attend Team TriBy3-Snapple group practices on a regular basis, and compete in at least 1 team-sponsored race per season.
